To learn more about mangos, read up on information from Wikipedia.

According a release from the Department, says SKNvibes, the festival comes at a time when there is an abundant supply of mangoes and other fruits on the island.

I suppose this is why the date is always to be annocunced. Emphasis will be placed mainly on fresh, preserved and dried fruits. The market will be full of fun and smiling faces!

Wht products could be made from these suculent fruits? The release said that the festival aims at highlighting the versatility of fruits in terms of the range of products that could be made from them.

Health is also a primary focus of the event, as the department also hopes to encourage Nevis persons to consume more fruits and to plant more fruit trees. I’m sure we could all use more fruit in our diets!

So what can you expect at this event if your an Nevis Island visitor?

There will be numerous fruits on display as well as for sale at this fun-filled festival! These are all homegrown from proud island dwellers.

The Agro Processors on the island will be featured at the fruit festival too! They will have a wide range of eats and drinks on display as well as for sale. The event will be a delicious one, as always!Residents and visitors to Nevis Island are all welcome, and there is no admission fee.

What can you expect to see and taste there!? Be prepared to see juices, nectars, ice cream, wines, cake, pies, jams and jellies made from a range of fruits. There will also be craft items and soap made from fruits and fruit by-products.

Unlike last, this year there will be two competitions as part of the festival! Persons interested in the Banana ice cream and Cake Competitions should note that the cake should be locally fruit based. Sounds like a Blast.

The festival runs from 10m to 5pm. So come with an empty stomach and a bit of cash to buy some delicous Nevis Fruits!
