Nevis Triathlon Results
The RESULTS are in for the NEVIS TRIATHLON 2009!
The Nevis Cycle and Triathlon Club reported on the event.
The successful race attracted a record number of competitors, and spectators on Sunday 15th March. 108 athletes from 16 nations were represented at the event. Who was there? Canada, England, USA, Holland, Germany, Ireland, France, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, Trinidad & Tobago, Grenada, St. Martin, Saba, Antigua, Tortola and Nevis.
Race organizer Winston Crooke said:
It has been an amazing experience getting prepared for this race, we had financial difficulties but forged ahead anyway, and all of the hard work has paid off by the extraordinary number of athletes that visited from both abroad and regionally. Pam Barry of the Golden Rock Hotel stepped in to the financial breech, as did the NIA, for which i am deeply grateful.
