It gives newlyweds the new opportunity to enhance the environment and commemorate their union by planting a Nevis coconut palm on the grounds following their ceremony at Nisbet. The happy couple can return to Nevis and Nisbet for years to come and see how their palm grows with them. They also return home from their wedding and honeymoon knowing they have honored the earth as part of their most special day.

“We are planting a palm near our scenic Avenue of the Palms for each wedding couple to encourage them to come back and visit in future years, to enhance the resort and to reinforce our environmental commitment,” says General Manager Jamie Holmes.

Most recently, British couple Paul and Amanda (Holden) Alchin planted a palm on Saturday, October 18th, the day after their wedding.

Nisbet is the perfect place for Romance and Weddings! It’s also the perfect place for a honeymoon, a special anniversary or simply an opportunity to renew your love for each other. It is spacious, clean and private with its own beach, stately coconut palms, and lush tropical flowers.

The beautiful natural setting and ever present sounds of the ocean and smell of the salt air create a sense of harmony. It is unrivalved and peace, fun and beauty. Best of all though, you and your Nevis Island sweetie can leave a flourishing palm behind to visit in years to come!
