It’s Almost that Time of Year In NEVIS, WEST INDIES!

I am excited to share the up and coming events of CULTURAMA 2008

Nevis Islanders are anxiously planning, organizing, funding and implimenting the launch of this year’s CULTURAMA festivities!

Culturama Street Bashments kicked off two days ago as the newly-established Nevis Cultural Development Foundation, hosted an afternoon bash in Charlestown, Nevis… But the 2008 Culturama festival will be officially launched on Friday June 25, 2008…

The following are events that are officially listed to take place between July 25 to August 5, 2008:

-July 19- Pre-Culturama Lime Sweet Bash, Senior Kaiso Quarter Finals
-July 25- Mini Folk Parade, Launch of Culturama 2008 and Ms. Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant
-July 26- Culturama Kids Zone and Senior Kaiso Semi Finals
-July 27- B mobile Ms. Culture Swim Wear Contest
-July 28 to August 2- Art and Craft Exhibition/Lunch Time Concerts
-July 28 to 29- Dramatic Presentation
-July 30- At the Nevis Cultural Centre, Nevis Cultural Expo and Junior Kaiso contest
-August 1- King of De Jungle 2K8 Battle of the Band
-August 3- Culturama Food and Craft Fair, Day of Legends, Legends Cricket March, Senior Kaiso Finals
-August 3- Ms. Culture Queen Pageant
-August 4- Emancipation J’Ouvert Jump Up, Freedom Concert
-August 5- Culturama Sweet Parade and Last Lap
