The Wildlife of Nevis
Nature’s Wild Inhabitants fly, swim, swing and run free here on Nevis Island.
Nevis is well known for it’s beauty in nature!
From birds and bats… to sharks and sea turtles… to monkeys and mongoose, Nevis Wildlife is alive and well.
Mainland animals can be seen anywhere here. Walking and Hiking around the island is one of the many popular Nevis Activities & Attractions. You can also take part on a guided tour and go horseback riding on a Nevis Vacation.
Aquatic Wildlife can be witnessed as you snorkel or scuba dive off the beautiful Nevis Beaches.
The Caves, also known as Devil’s Caves, is my personal favorite dive spot where one can explore the underwater flora and fauna. You will have to take a 35 minute boat ride to the southwest side of Nevis to get there, but it’s well worth the exciting voyage out to sea. What kind of marine sea creatures can you expect to swim with?
