The beautiful estate grounds sit high up on Nevis hills on a hundred-acre 18th century sugar plantation. It was actually built from lava stone between 1801 and 1815.

In the gardens which are celebrated throughout the island, visual feasts attract plenty of hummingbirds and at least 10 varieties of forest and garden birds.
Nevis Nightlife… Saturday nights serve as a fun and popular buffet night! Their West Indian buffet is served around 8 p.m. on Saturdays with live traditional music by the Honeybee’s string band. It is very entertaining and intruiging because most of their instruments were handmade on the island.
A ship’s bell rings every night for dinner between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Serving Nevisian cuisine, the dinner-only restaurant is well regarded offering candle lit West Indian cuisine in an ancient room with vine-draped fieldstone walls. A local string band jazzes up the popular Saturday night Caribbean buffet during the High Season.
