Come smell the fantastic tropical flora at the Botanical Gardens of Nevis
The Botanical Gardens of Nevis provide a raiforest like haven that can be a remedy for any bad mood while intensifying a good one! The smell of a beautiful flower can warm a soul, heal a heart, fix a problem and lift a spirit. Besides the beautiful Nevis shores, there is no better place to enjoy tropical, neon flowers of the Caribbean…
Nevis is fortunate to have so many wonderful attractions, and the Botanical Gardens is one of the best. Reasonably high up near Montpelier Plantation and almost eight acers big, it has a breathtaking ocean view. Divided into many unique, beautiful sections, it is a one of a kind experience that will be remembered every time you get wind of a fresh flower.
The gardens are already mature and very well laid out, with fountains and sculptures of monkeys and birds and so on, scattered throughout. This cleverly designed place is very charming and interesting to walk through, and is divided into many sections, each one of which has its own character, including a formal rose garden which is often used for weddings, shady orchid terraces with bromelliads and Spanish moss, a succulent garden, a good variety of tropical fruit trees, waterlily pools, and an unusual large greenhouse with parrots and a Mayan style “ruin”.

What else do the Gardens offer?
The Garden also has a large and very well-stocked gift shop, inside the ground floor of a elegant building constructed to resemble a traditional Caribbean plantation Great House. You can have a very good lunch or a traditional English-style afternoon tea up on the terrace.
